About Us

The mission of DEMOR System is to promote optimal recovery, wellness and quality of life in persons with neuromuscular movement dysfunction (understood or actualized as chronic pain) by utilizing individualized program design in the advancement of evidence-based bodywork massage therapy practice (DEMOR HotSpot Therapy ®) , corrective exercise, athletic performance, sports psychology, and nutrition counseling.

DEMOR HotSpot Therapy (DHST) is a unique system of therapeutic massage modalities designed by United States Marine Corps Commissioned Officer, former competitive bodybuilder, and published author William Kennamore for the treatment and prevention of muscle strains, sprains, and pain. This comprehensive system rids muscles of built up chemical bonds and relieves immobility, inflexibility, muscle “soreness” and joint “stiffness” while restoring musculoskeletal balance.

With a master degree in sports and exercise psychology and over 20 years of experience as a Massage Therapist, Certified Personal Trainer (NASM), Functional Movement Specialist (FMS), Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES), and Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES) William has committed his professional and private life to promoting optimal recovery, wellness self-care and quality of life for people managing pain (acute or chronic) rooted in neuromuscular dysfunction.

In his work with professional athletes, as a Fitness Manager and Master Trainer for 24 Hour Fitness, and in the development of wellness programs for the Alameda County Sheriff Department, Will’s calm demeanor, wisdom, and sense of humor serve as a path for all who are interested in being consistently aware of the relationship between body, mind, and movement.
In 2016 I started another challenge, to complete my Ph.D. in Health Psychology.

My motivational inspiration quote is “The Results are in the Experience”. My quote provides me the strength of mind and effort during the hard time as well as times of pleasure and fun. I able to tap into this through three fundamental truths. My first truth is “a belief without understanding is tantamount to traveling without directions, I may be able to go places but I will not have a clue as to how and why I am where I am”. This truth is at the heart of my effort, making sure that I’m traveling with directions. Staying motivated to achieve my Ph.D. (Results) in Health Psychology is my aim while keeping in mind that my results come as a function of the experiences I have.

My second truth is knowing that a state of distress can slow my progress and cause neglect which leads to repeating negative behaviors in present time. This truth keeps me well balanced to learn from my experiences and let them inspire forward effort. My third truth is to advance I must be willing to move on from thoughts and feeling that drain my motivation. This truth makes me aware that I can be grounded in the past which leads to a distorted perception and an altered attitude within my present, which will keep me locked in a psychophysical loop of past within present with little to no advancements.

My fundamental truths provide me with the knowledge that whatever outcome there is to be had, it cannot happen without staying vigilant. To remain vigilant embodies mental, physical and emotional currency. With these currencies, I pay for the opportunities with the knowledge that my experiences are what determine all my results. Therefore, the results are in the experiences and when I want different results I seek different experiences.
