About Us

As the name Chokhi Dhani means Chokhi means- beautiful and Dhani means- a small hamlet. Thus, Chokhi Dhani Offers an experience of a complete village.

We thank Punekars for their patronage of this concept which has just turned 13years. Spread over 7Acres of area, Chokhi Dhani provides an experience of the rich and vibrant culture of Rajasthan with its folk dance like the Ghoomer & Kalbelia. Various other interesting and age-old cultural activities like Tilak & Kachi Ghodi Swagat, Jyotish, Katputli, Nat(tight rope walker), Kumbhar(potter), Lohar(iron smith), Malish(gents & ladies) enthrall the guests.

The village comes to life from 5pm daily until 11pm and the entire ambience comes to the feel of a true village with the lantern light effect post dusk amidst the soothing music and folk lure songs. The array of over 70 Cultural Activities spread over the village amidst the light effects of a village give the true experience of a true Rajasthani Village. After all the experience of folk and cultural Activites, we have an experience of a true India Sit down seating for the dinner at the ‘Sangri’- Restaurant.

The flavour of a true Rajasthani Menu tingles one and all’s taste buds.The experience of a sit down Indian Traditional Seating dates back to the times of the Maharajas which is relived at Chokhi Dhani- an experience not catered to by any other hospitality concept. The food Selection and range is far beyond imagination. The platter covers popular Rajasthani dishes like- Dal, Bati, Churma; Gatte Ki Subji; Aloo Pyaj Ki Subji and to close it with sumptuous mithais like the Malpua and Jalebi and many more.

The experience begins with a range of traditional Rajasthani dishes like Jaljeera, jodhpuri Mirch Wada, Bikaneri Kachori, Khasta Kachori, Kesaria Chai, Bajri Roti, Lassoon Ki Chutni, Makhan and Gud.

Chokhi Dhani, Pune celebrates every festival of the year and per our vast and diverse culture of India. To name a few main celebrations are Sankrant, Lohri, Republic Day, Holi, Baisakhi, Maharashtra Day, Independence Day, Navratri, Dusshera, Diwali, Eid, Christmas and many more.
An annual Chokhi Dhani Mela for 2 weeks in Apr and Dec add to the Rajasthani Cultural celebrations. Chokhi Dhani, Pune thus celebrates over 30 Events across the year spanning over 100 days of Annual celebration catering to the Fusion in Food & Entertainment as per the Festival.
